Why is it important?

This proposal is important because the exposed methodology can be extrapolated to others Peruvian regions in order to contribute to the prevention of geological hazards in that area.

Perspectives

This work was the groundwork for a new study of the geomorphological evolution of Lima's alluvial fan, which was the research that has answered about the geodynamic of this important landform in Lima (Peru) and its implications for the flood hazard.
