This study aims to pinpoint Bet v 1 potential allergens and investigate whether they participate in the resistance of berry crops against fungal pathogen.We conducted the genome-scale prediction of Bet v 1 members in model fruit crop strawberry (Fragaria), evaluated potential allergenicity and analyzed their specific roles engaged in defense against strawberry typical fungal disease anthracnose.
